Oh So Easy Breaded Chicken Strip Recipe

Breaded chicken strips is one of the easiest and versatile things you can cook up quickly. Make sure to cook up extra so you can use them throughout the week!

They are great on their own with dip, on a sandwich, salad, wraps and even on a bed of jasmine rice!

Ingredients:

1 lb or more of Hidden Root Farms Chicken Strips

1 cup of Panko Bread Crumbs

1 cup of white flour

3 eggs

Cooking oil for frying

Seasoning:

1/3 cup of water

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion power

1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

1 tsp of both salt & pepper

Directions:

Beat the water and eggs together

Mix all the seasoning in the panko bread crumbs

Add a few drops of oil to coat a non-stick frying pan and heat pan on medium heat

One chicken strip at a time dip them in the egg mixture and then into the flour to fully coated the strip. Next take the strip and dip it back into the egg mixture and then this time roll it in the seasoned panko bread crumbs. Place strip in the frying pan, adjust heat as required. Fully cook and crisp strip on one side and then flip and cook on the other side. 4 to 5 minutes per side average.

If you prefer not to use panko bread crumbs or flour you can simply mix the same seasoning listed above and lightly sprinkle it on the plain chicken strips for a delicious meal.

Chicken needs to be cooked to an minimum internal temperature of 165F
